PNP Certifications ensure that every aspect of the service is impartial by conducting auditing services based on objective evidence of conformity or nonconformity. We negate threats of real or perceived impartiality in every aspect of our services by ensuring that our decisions are not influenced by other interests or other parties. Threats to impartiality include, but are not limited to, self-interest, self-review, familiarity and trust, as well as intimidation. PNP Certifications has also identified additional risks that could affect impartiality including management consultancy, training services and other services. By analysing these risks and taking action to mitigate them, PNP Certifications takes action to mitigate threats of impartiality.

PNP Certifications retains full responsibility for the impartiality of our activities. PNP Certifications and our auditors, contractors and staff do not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality. All threats to impartiality are identified, analysed, evaluated, treated, monitored and documented. All our auditors and contractors are provided with these documents so that they are in full understanding of their obligations for impartiality.

PNP Certifications top management continuously reviews and reconfirms impartiality practices during management reviews. In addition, PNP Certifications has formed an impartiality committee that meets on a minimum annual basis to review processes and ensure conformance. Our committee members are selected based on determined criteria, which include no single interest stakeholder, and on the basis of reviewing operations in a fair and impartial manner.
